These lashes seriously offer that wow-factor! Volume Lashes can also known as Russian Lashes, 2D – 5D Lashes.
Volume lash extensions are a more intricate procedure than classic eyelash extensions by creating “handmade fans” in Varying Ds (ie 2D, 3D, etc) and applied by carefully isolating every natural lash to make sure only one volume fan attaches to one natural lash. 2D, 3D, 4D or 5D etc is used to describe how many lashes are in the handmade fan of lashes, e.g 2D mean that 2 lashes are placed onto one natural lash and so on, is used to describe how many lashes are in the handmade fan of lashes.
Volume Lashes are different to classic individual eyelash extensions, not only because we apply more lashes with volume lashes, but because we use much lighter, fluffier, softer types of lashes. Your lashes will look much fuller, thicker and darker. These lashes are extensions are so light, that 4 x 0.07 thickness (Volume Lash) extensions in one fan, weigh less than 1 x 0.15 thickness (Standard Classic Lash) extension on it own.
A common concern with these lashes is that they may break your natural lashes. This is not the case if they are applied by a trained technician like myself, when you come for a treatment, we assess the right amount of lashes per fan, depending on the health of your natural lashes, and length.
After trying volume lash extensions, you will never need to use mascara again, they suit all face shapes and can really frame your eyes. They are also low maintenance, all they need, is to be washed every morning and evening, and they will need refreshed every 3-4 weeks, that’s it.
The treatment itself is a very relaxing experience, you lie down, with your eyes closed, listening to music, then once you open your eyes, you’ll see the just how beautiful the lashes can be. To me, as your therapist, that is the best part of the treatment, when the client opens their eyes and smile at themselves in the mirror, it makes all the hard work and training worth while.
